At elho, we are always searching for using valuable waste streams to make beautiful designer pots. The winery collection flowerpots are made with plastic waste from French vineyards. More specific from plastic ropes for vineyard trellising. In Europe we have a major challenge with agricultural plastic waste; every year 1.175 KT of agricultural plastic waste is being generated, but only 173 KT is being recycled. Fortunately there are organisations such as ADIVALOR that collects the plastic waste from French farmers and companies like Healix that are able to transform this waste into new raw materials so we at elho are able to use them to make this beautiful flowerpots ensuring the circularity of this waste stream.
