Plant information

General

The photinia fraseri, also known as the red robin, is a sweet little tree with bright, burning red leaves in the spring. Once fall rolls around, the leaves turn a deep, dark green, and stay that way all throughout winter. So if you’d like your green garden oasis to stay green all year round, a few red robins will do the trick!

Care

The photinia likes his soil to stay slightly moist. Water your plant two to three times in the summer, less in winter. In spring, add some composted manure to the soil and prune any dead or damaged branches.

Placing

Place your plant in a sunny or partial shade spot, preferably somewhere with little to no strong winds.

Propogation

Repot the photinia after purchase, or once every two years in the spring. Some fresh soil is the best solution to keeping your plants happy!
