Plant information

The parlour palm’s only pet peeve is dry soil, so make sure you always keep the soil slightly moist. Some water once every four days in the summer is fine, and once every two weeks in the winter. If you really want to please your new green friend, mist him with a plant sprayer twice a week.
The parlour palm enjoys his time in the sun, but do avoid direct sunlight. Are the leaves turning yellow? That means your plant is getting a little too much light.
Repot your palm once every two years, preferably in the spring.
