You can then use it to water your plants, as drinking water for your pets or for cleaning your windows. To make it even more environmentally friendly, our green basics rain catcher is made from recycled plastic and produced using energy from our very own wind turbine. A real win-win situation! The green basics rain catcher has a capacity of 35 litres and is easy to install between your downpipe. When the rain catcher is full, excess water drains away through the overflow. The tap at the bottom makes it easy to place a watering can underneath the rain barrel. Don’t forget to open the tap during periods of frost!
