Plant information

General

A soft, snowy white blanket in the middle of summer? With a gypsophila plant, your garden will look like it experienced an extremely local little snow storm. The plant, also known as baby’s breath, is bowl-shaped and covered in hundreds of tiny white flowers. Back in the day, the flowers were used as fillers in bouquets, but now the plant can hold its own. Baby’s breathe looks best in a round flower pot or large planter, together with other flowering plants.

Care

The gypsophila is a strong plant and doesn’t need much water. Once a week should be enough. When you’re watering, always check the soil to make sure it’s not too moist.

Placing

Find a nice spot in the sun in your garden or on your balcony for this plant. Some shade is fine, but the gypsophila does enjoy her sunshine.
